Salsa Verde

Description
  • Peel and rinse the tomatillos with water and cut them in 1/4, peel and cut the onions in 1/4 as well. 
  • Blend the tomatillos, onions, cilantro and garlic in the vitamix blender. 
  • Add 1 jalapeño at the time until is spicy enough. Do not add all the jalapeños at the same time. 
  • Adjust the seasoning with salt and lime juice if needed.
Ingredients
  • 6 ea Tomatillos, peeled & washed
  • 1 ea White onion, peeled & chopped
  • 2 ea Garlic cloves
  • 1 to 3 Jalapeños, seeded and chopped
  • ½ bunch Cilantro
  • Enough Kosher Salt
Note

If the tomatillos are sweet, add a splash of lime juice.
You can add 1 avocado and make the sauce creamier in texture and get a different flavor profile.
